Important Measuring tips:

Use a steel tape measure
Plan to install your rod about 4″ above the window trim (more or less is OK based on available space)
For most drapery header styles, you will measure from the BOTTOM of rod to floor, then deduct 1/2″. For Rod Pocket or Grommet Top, you will measure from the TOP of rod to floor instead.
If you’d like your draperies to puddle on the floor, add 3-6″ more based on the depth of puddle you desire.

Tip: If your rod is not yet installed, you may want to wait until after your draperies are delivered, so you can make minor height adjustments.
